He or she should spend time making EP better, by making new people feel welcome and help them in anyway. Also he or she should not be baced just on looks alone but also on what the other members of EP but also on intelligence. The Queen of Elfpack should have a brain.

In my opinion it's just a fun contest with a cute badge if you win. Think of it this way, it's like a drawing contests, You don't have to submit your whole personality with the drawing to win, it;s just a fun contest about the drawing.
Having some ego isn't bad, all you get is a badge, an awesome badge that I made might I add, and that's it.
If you don't like how the contest is ran then don't join it.
